Sabina Gadecki was born September 28, 1983 in Chicopee, Massachusetts. She had always aspired as a young girl to be a star and no doubt she didn’t see the World Poker Tour Hostess coming but a star she is.

Her first language was Polish. She never actually learned how to speak english until she was in kindergarten.

Through young school days Sabina was a dancing and a cheerleader during High School. She also enjoyed competing in beauty pageants where she was crowned Miss Polonia World and Miss Western Massachusetts in 2002.

Gadecki then went on to study Theatre and Communications at Holyoke Community College while she worked as a cocktail waitress and bartender at a night club.

After receiving an associate’s degree at age 19, she moved to New York City where she attended Fordham University, majoring in international business with a minor in communications. Gadecki also worked as a model, appearing in Seventeen, Redbook, and Premier.

When Sabina first video auditioned for the Hostess job at the World Poker Tour, she dress up like a Las Vegas tourist – visor, cowboy boots and all. It just so happened that the WPT people loved it and hired her 2 weeks before the 5th season was due to start. CEO Steve Lipscomb said, “We chose Sabina from hundreds of applicants. She emerged as the right fit because of the star qualities she naturally exhibits.”

She admitted she knew nothing about poker when secured the role, although quickly became a student and now enjoys the game.

Gadecki prides herself in the various volunteer work she has completed, including work with organizations such as the American Cancer Society, American Red Cross, AIDS Foundation of Western Massachusetts, and Piasecka Johnson Foundation for Autism.

She is currently in a relationship with NBA basketball player David Lee who plays for the New York Knicks.

Gadecki only stayed with the WPT for one season before being replaced by Layla Kayleigh.
